I have talked, filmed and witness Frank Corsaro and his work for a year now – I’m making a documentary about him – his life and work.
Many have asked me about Corsaro – I’m still shooting on the documentary, and will return to New York soon to meet up with him again. Instead of explaining the work (I’m still on a journey to learn about it) I will show some of my shaky handheld research material Let me stress that this is bits and bites taken out of context…..
Bites about the director:
The director must focus on the actor’s instrument not just in blocking, but also rely on his personal experiences as one of the most important assets in staging. The actor explores choices and the director guides and makes sure that the instrument is relaxed and connected with the material.
