Penelope: My brother and I are emptying the house I once called home for memories. After our father’s death we go through his belongings. We find an old tambour cupboard – it is filled with thoughts about life, death and love in pictures and words. A lonely man’s longing unfolds as we empty the old cupboard. We don’t know why our dad chose to give up life. We both mourn the loss, and want to know the answer to a difficult question we both don’t dare to ask.
